Chapter Membership for 2024.


There are two membership renewals each year – this is your North Central Chapter Renewal and it is different from the LGMA Provincial Membership. Your North Central Chapter Membership provides access to a grassroots network and opportunities for training close to home where you can meet and connect with colleagues from local governments in your region.


How to Renew


Complete the online Chapter Renewal Registration form.

 

  1. Complete the entire form. Fields marked with * are required. Once complete, click the “Submit” button at the bottom of the page.  
  2. After clicking “Submit”, your renewal will be confirmed.
  3. After you have registered, refer to the on-screen instructions for your payment options. Payment is accepted by credit card or cheque.

 

Payment Process


The fee for each member is $25. You may pay by credit card or cheque. 

Cheques must be made payable to the North Central Chapter of the LGMA Standing Committee.

NCLGMA AGM & Elections – April 26th 9:30 am to noon

 

This year, the NCLGMA will be having 2 or 3 virtual sessions from different speakers and with different topics which will be free to those who register as members (only $25 per person for the year). See registration information above.

 

Virtual Education Session and AGM

For our very first session, we are pleased to announce that the NCLGMA will have a special virtual presentation by an accomplished speaker, Gordon McIntosh, on Friday, April 26th, 2024 from 9:30am to Noon and we will include at the end, a very brief Annual General Meeting to nominate new directors. We would like to take this opportunity to thank David Joy, President (City of Fort St. John) and Devon Cooper, Vice President (City of Prince George) for their time with the NCLGMA. All positions are open for Nomination:

To take part in this session, please register/re-register for your annual membership at the very low cost of $25 per person before March 31.

 

Virtual Presentation

Gordon’s topic will be “Workplace Success: Situational Leadership”.



Gordon has 40 years of local government management, educator, and consultancy roles. He provides governance, strategic, and leadership services and has conducted 1,300 workshops involving 140,000 people on many local government topics.
