Local Government By-election Townhall

If you are currently overseeing or will soon be involved in administering a local government by-election, the LGMA Election Committee invites you to a complimentary, informative townhall session. This session is designed to help you navigate the complexities of organizing a by-election, whether you're new to the process or seeking to refresh your knowledge. You'll gain valuable insights into the legal requirements, timelines, and best practices necessary to successfully administer the election. Don't miss this opportunity to connect with fellow election administrators, ask questions, and ensure your by-election runs smoothly.


This session will be held over Zoom on November 19, from 1:30 to 3:00 pm. To allow for maximum registration, registration will remain open until Thursday, November 14 at 4 PM. This session is intended for Chief Election Officers (CEO), Deputy Chief Election Officers and other election support staff from various local governments across BC.
