Pension Consulting Service
The LGMA, in partnership with consultant Jerry Woytack, provides support for personal pension and retirement planning counselling services for its members.
Those who meet the requirements mentioned below are eligible to apply for a complimentary one-hour session with Mr. Woytack. Additional time is billed to participants at $225/hr plus GST, however in some cases the first hour may be sufficient.
PLEASE NOTE: The requirements for accessing our pension consulting services:
- At least 50 years of age;
- Currently a member and has been a member of the LGMA for at least the past 5 consecutive years;
- Member of the Municipal Pension Plan in BC; and
- Has not previously accessed this service.
Mr. Woytack brings expertise and service experience in the Municipal, College, Public Service, and Teachers' pension plans of BC. He was formerly Deputy Commissioner for the BC Superannuation Commission (now the Pension Corporation) from 1990 to 2000.
Since 2000 he has offered pension advisory and consulting services to public sector organizations and individuals through his firm J. Woytack & Associates. Information, service descriptions and contact information can be found at J. Woytack & Associates.
Personal counselling and pension advisory services with Mr. Woytack are offered to LGMA Members by appointment.

To apply for this service please download the Pension Retirement Planning Counselling Application Form. Send your completed applications to office@lgma.ca at least 2 weeks prior to the desired appointment date.
